NZDS - Creating a Digital Service in New Zealand - ANURAG MITTAL FIE

The New Zealand government's plan to cut 8,700 jobs in the public sector and save 2.4 billion New Zealand dollars has been addressed mainly through practical use cases (Digital Storybook E-Gov).

In the following, I present a detailed list of 160 ways Artificial Intelligence can reshape the public sector. Ideas range from AI-based contact centers and common cloud-based HR and payroll platforms to more ambitious solutions such as using synthetic population models to test policy measures and simulating the impact of legislation in real time.
